SPEKTON

Terms and Conditions

Sales agreements, quality acceptance criteria, and export licence (EUC) compliance procedures.

Scope

These terms apply to quotations issued by SPEKTON and to orders placed against them. A quotation is an invitation to order and becomes binding only once SPEKTON confirms the order in writing. Where a customer's own purchasing terms conflict with these, the terms recorded in the signed order confirmation prevail.

Quotations and technical data

Quotations are based on the drawing revision supplied at the time of enquiry. A revised drawing requires a revised quotation. Where a drawing is silent on a tolerance, SPEKTON quotes against the applicable ISO 10110 default and states the assumption in the quotation.

Technical data, drawings and CAD models supplied by the customer are treated as confidential, are used only to prepare and fulfil the order, and are not shared with third parties without written consent.

Quality acceptance

Parts are accepted against the specification recorded in the order confirmation and the measurement report shipped with them. Claims relating to visible defects should be raised within ten working days of delivery; claims relating to measurable characteristics should reference the corresponding measurement in the report.

Export control

Optical and additive manufacturing products supplied for defense and aerospace applications may be subject to export control. Orders can require an end-user certificate (EUC) and, depending on destination and application, an export licence. Delivery dates are subject to the licence being granted, and SPEKTON is unable to ship where a licence is refused.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Turkish law. This page is a summary for information; the contractual terms are those attached to the order confirmation.
